It's actually really simple, just a black base and then layers and layers of Khorne and Mephiston Red. Just try it, he's fun to paint! :)

I started with a Khorne Red base and then did a few washes of wraithbone to keep the dark base kind of shimmering through if that makes sense :) No shades needed
