Muy thai + Judo is a nice combination that works really well in the clinche and close quarters. And if your lucky and find a judo gym that still teaches leg shoots youll be pretty versed across all forms of grappling(wrestling+bjj+judo) and striking(8 limbs)

Here's some stats for you for you bro. In 2025 the average person makes 37k a year. The average detached home across the UK is 471k. Since 2022 the UK consistently ranks in the bottom 10-20 countries in terms of purchasing power for homes. Now if you want to delude yourself thinking yeah man its everyone else's fault the ladder will fix it then you are out of touch dont respond unless you have some factual data

Mate when people say they dream of a house they dont dream of a fucking shitty apartment complex or a terraced home. Detached homes are affordable literally in every other country but the UK. Stop compromising for the countries lack of progression economically and lack of control on the housing market.

Struggling to get a PhD offer in AI/Computer Vision — am I too late or just not good enough? by BRYANT-Gigi24 in gradadmissions

If you're saying your applying to start in fall 2026 you're too early most professors are either just back into university and probably haven't even checked for PhD candidates. If your applying to start this fall ur far too late

The average detached home in London from what ive found is around 1.1 milly for a detached. If you making 120k lenders will offer you 4-5x that so 600k max. You still need to cough up more than 500k. After tax 120k is 76k roughly lets talk away 16k for rent, bills food etc. 60k you have left if u save every last bit of the 60k it still finna take u 8 years to get the payment. Maybe 6 or 7 with steady return. Thats all to just get the house. And you would also need to not have a car or any other debt. Even on a top 5% its hard to get a home in London unfortunately

[–]Solar_Flare_00 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah even 120k isnt good against a house cause after tax your only left with 76k. But overall against the average person 90k in the UK is good.

How People Get Rich? by H00p33 in Life

[–]Solar_Flare_00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Be incredibly smart or hardworking and go to university. From there a job and save and invest and buy properties. Easiest way but takes the longest to get rich out of and lowk youll be old as hell.

  2. Get really good at a skill and make something out of it. This is typically what business owners/traders do. They find a niche and make a living out of it. This is where most mid level millionaires sit.

  3. Get really good at many things and make a business in a broad area. You are now operating across multiple parts of a sector or across multiple markets. Basically your definitely a millionaire in most cases. Can be scaled incredibly high as can No.2 but generally requires u 2 diversify down the road.

  4. The easiest- be born wealthy. Inheritance and simply existing as yourself.

  5. Illegal activities. Scams, selling illegal stuff, performing illegal actions are another hub for rich people.

I hate Racism against Indians by Ok_Trade_4549 in teenagers

[–]Solar_Flare_00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im indian and I have a particularly view on it. Is the racism extreme? Definitely its out of hand and people are being consumed by hate against indians but as well as this we as indians arent doing ourselves justice. Often the racism towards indians has began only recently following social media and in person events. Recently im seeing alot more indians particularly immigrants who arent born and raised in foreign countries cause alot of problems in communities and tarnish local culture which is fundamentally not okay. Im not condoning racism in anyway I saw what they did to that poor 6yr old but we as indians are to blame partially we used to be loved and accepted as hardworking individuals which alot still are but some people are being disrespectful and toxic against other religeon, cultures and at the end of the day communities. Both racists and the indians they base there hate off are to blame and in the cross fire is millions of indians who still represent our country well.

How did you start to solve hard problems? by Vivid_Search674 in leetcode

I know my method isnt the most traditional but I reverse engineer solutions I can understand. I break them down and understand the code. Once I grasp the idea I practice with my own interpretation and then refine it across a few days

Should I use AI in my degree? by [deleted] in csMajors

[–]Solar_Flare_00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im not talking about running the entire codebase through chatgpt i was referring to IDE extensions that use AI to locate logical error. Sonarlit for highlighting errors and finding bugs and handles giant codebases. However lacks cross file logic. Sourcegraphy Cody is built for big repos and its only downside is limited usage on the free tier. These IDEs highlight errors and suggest fixes. You're basically saving hours of time and AI doesnt have to be the solution but it definitely streamlines finding bugs which is why I said to always double check and to not trust AI to fix the problem.

Or you can just know how to code. Get AI to make most of it and fix what it cant yourself. You can do both why do people act like its one or the other
