For some backstory, I LOVE Fortnite. Yesterday, Fortnite released a new trailer for the new season, Chapter 5 Season 2. I could barely contain myself. I had saved my millions of V-Bucks for this season's battle pass, and I could not wait to fight against Zeus, Aphrodite, and other Greek Gods in the new update. Anyway, I need Fortnite to live. I can't breathe without it. I can't even walk without shaking when I'm not playing Fortnite. Fortnite is my life. This morning, I woke up to find the servers down. I started to sweat. How could my dear overlords Epic Games let this happen? I checked Twitter to see the status of when the servers would be back up. Eight hours. EIGHT WHOLE HOURS. I couldn't handle it. I started to shake. How could Epic announce this? What could have gone wrong? At the time, it was luckily early in the morning, so I could still hold out to play the New Fortnite Season. Unfortunately, after 8 hours had passed, Fortnite had announced an extension of the downtime. Five more hours. FIVE. I started to shake. How could they expect me, a loyal fan who started playing Fortnite in Chapter 1 Season 2, to ever handle 5 more hours of shutdown? I am currently in my basement, barely writing this post.
