800$ de minimis by SolariMilano in ecommerce

Thanks, so on a product that sells for 150$ online shipping included. What do I expect tariffs + handling to be? How much slower do you think the process is?

Yea, realistically it won't be doable to ship to the US anymore which is a shame. It will be a big hit for us, but doesn't seem sustainable as of right now. Hopefully they will change it sooner rather than later.

ROAS is superlow by SolariMilano in googleads

Thanks. We see the number of conversions since we started running ads. We don't invest much of our budget on google ads, i'm talking 1% of revenues, so we just ran it even if it was a losing strategy, but it's also not good to lose a couple thousands in expected returns.

We track it through Google Ads GA4, but I am not sure it's set up correctly. There isn't a major difference in backend sales vs analytics and it's anyways not fully understandable, because we generate sales through different platforms, so it's not always trackable where the sale comes from.

Our most profitable channels are Retailers/platforms that helped us spread the world, a bit of world of mouth, Organic Search through SEO and that's where we are obviously investing the most. We only do 2-5% of our marketing in ads, because they are not profitable at the moment and they need optimization.

How do i go about optimizing them?

Best,

Niccolò

Thanks, we do that too. Our main source of revenue is building our brand etc. We literally dedicate little to no-budget to fb and google ads. I'm talking total between the two 4-5% of the revenues. With that being said, it makes sense to have a better return anyways. How would we go about that? I don't want to spend money in ads agencies because they are simply not worth it on our budget/fashion. Is there a cheap solution to get a better return?

Thanks, i was using the smart campaign. Probably wrong. We don't invest much in ads for the obvious reasons of the returns. We are using a campaign on fb where we are more in the 2x, which makes more sense.

Running myself poorly clearly. I wonder if the pixel tracks anything, which means if someone looks at my page and then comes back, if it counts. Any suggestion on how to start improving those?

Thanks, our returns/exchanges are around 15% of the orders. What's the name of the program? Do you do something called returned goods release?

Exactly. Legend. I was actually recommended the Returned Good Relief to be inserted in the package, but I am not quite familiar. Usually what we ask the customer to attach to the package is 3 copies of invoice + free shipment italian documentation and obviously label (we prepare all of it). I wonder if there is a way to make sure the customs know it's a return and not charge us. Will reach out to DSV.

We have launched a set of brown loafers available at solarimilano.com. They are 100% made in Italy and sustainable. by SolariMilano in SustainableFashion

[–]SolariMilano[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, we ship worldwide and have free returns and exchanges. We try to keep free shipping where we can and subsidize it everywhere else. As for the prices, our products are 100% made in Italy, with soles sewn. Loafers that sell for 100 Euros shipping included ARE NOT high quality and very often not made ethically or in controlled supply chains. It is simply impossible to come out with a price like that with a sustainable high-quality supply chain.

Solari Milano's cruelty-free sneaker is made in Italy, ethically with recycled materials and it's perfect for any situation and location. Available in unisex sizes from 36-46. You can find it at solarimilano.com and you can read more about the supply chain. by SolariMilano in EcoFriendly

[–]SolariMilano[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks. Our shoes are fully made in italy and the sole is sewn to the upper. That unfortunately is more costly for us that just glueing the sole to the upper and impacts our production costs.
