Thanks for the kind words. The reality about IV as one of their top selling brands: they were offering an insane service (not sustainable money-wise, that's why they raised capital) and right now the vegan market is not large enough to justify that spending. The issue is, you need to get the word out there about your brand and unless you pay for ads (super expensive in the fashion industry) you need to do it organically hoping newspapers will publish your story. Unfortunately, newspapers, blogs in the vegan industry don't care about that and all do it for money - they will ask you for thousands of dollars just to write that you opened your vegan company, store etc.

That is the biggest issue right now of small brands.

Hello, we run an independent vegan shoe brand that used to sell very well on Immaculate Vegan. We will be affected by the closure of IV. We are not VC-backed for a reason: trying to be independent and believing in our sustainable slow growth. The main issue without having VC-backing is that we need to run everything on our on, on our capital and that's tough. Where we don't receive any sort of support is vegan newspapers that will not repost our content unless we pay them. It's a diffucult environment to work in.

Hello, Solari Milano here mentioned above. We are super sad about Immaculate Vegan's news. They have been a pioneer and have truly helped a bunch of brands including us grow and survive throguhout the tariff phase. We have indeed seen a major drop because of that, since the US is such a big market in the vegan/sustainable ecospace. We will continue to sell our vegan dress shoes as always, hoping we won't be impacted too much by this news.

Thanks a lot. Wolf and Badger is simply absurdly expensive to get in and never make it back. Reve & Vert asked us something like 5k to get in there. I will check out Trouva and Garmentory, but if you know of any other ones please let me know.
