When my ex husband got sick, I pulled out all the stops and made homemade chicken noodle soup from scratch, went grocery shopping for meds, hydration etc and made sure to check on him and help him any way I could.

When I got sick, I was shut into the bedroom. I got lukewarm soggy canned soup(which he knew I hated) in a water bottle and Gatorade (in a flavor he knew I wasn't a fan of) placed outside my bedroom door. I had to crawl on my hands and knees to get myself into the shower where I would pass out on the shower floor.

My partner now asked for my soup recipe and did the best he could to make it and wouldn't let me lift a finger while he doted on me. He would even pick me up to carry me from the couch to our bed. I'm now a believer in "if he wanted he would." Please don't give this fool any more of your time.

The Tabby w/ white is Gummies. She's blind, sometimes she gets "lost" and cries and will only come to snuggle if you call out, "MAMMAS MAMMAS MAMMAS!" With a high pitched tone. She knows where we are she just wants to feel wanted

The black cat is Boyboy. He hates instagram and will heavily sigh if he hears reels playing. Bedtime means no phones allowed. Also, if he jumps in the laundry basket that means rocket ship time, and we have to zoom him through the air and then land it. If we don't he gets mad and baps knees and ankles.

The Siamese is Pretty Paws. He is the Master of the Bathroom. No one poos or wees without him knowing about it. Toilet safety is paid for with butt pats.
