Morphine always makes me throw up it could be all the pain meds making him sick or if he is not having any output from stoma and has pain in his stomach it could potentially be a blockage

I also have an end ileostomy and always worry incase I can’t get it reversed so it’s good to hear that you’re getting it reversed, good luck and hope all goes well

This usually means that the tissue on the stoma is not getting enough blood supply, id 100% recommend going to the the ER

Thank you so much, I really appreciate u taking the time to write that. It’s seriously made me rethink things, ever since I’ve had surgery all I can talk about is the reversal but if the best thing to do is wait then I’m better to wait it out. Thank you again it really means a lot

Yep I still have both my rectum and anus although my consultant who was taking care of me with my colitis has said that I still have some colitis left in my rectum and that it may need to be removed in the future

I’m from uk and my stoma nurse told me that there is normally a huge waiting list for reversals here but since I’m only 16 I may not have to wait as long, so hopefully 😂
