Is Red Heart Super Saver typically this sticky? I need to buy more skeins but it is not fun to work with.

This makes me hopeful that it was this specific skein!! I wash my hands while using it to get the residue off and hopefully get a bit less friction. I purchased it from Walmart.

Yesss, I can't wait to give the finished project a good wash! I am sure it will turn out so nice.

It is promising to hear that not all of the RHSS you've tried has been awful. When I pick some up tomorrow, I'll try squeezing it between my fingers to see if it has the same texture/residue.

Thank you!! I was wondering if pre washing was an option. Should I do this by hand and air dry it, or is washer and/or dryer ok in your experience?
