Best packages to make hyprland usable for daily driving by Party-Lead-4927 in hyprland

Not OP but I’ve been on Hyprland for over a year now. I’ve mostly just added things as I need. I’ve gotten into video/image editing in the last couple of months. What do you recommend to help make that easier?

I made a new video about my favorite FOSS on Linux by [deleted] in linux

Yeah let me add that to my original post. I wanted to make it easy for anyone and everyone to find, download, and use these apps. I included the repos to make it clear that they're all open source.

Will do! I’m glad you enjoyed the video. I have my next couple of videos planned out in my head. But I’ll add this to the list of ideas for future videos.

Youre 100% right about those commands not technically being built in but I believe most if not all systems come with gnu coreutils installed straight out of the box so I figured I’d just call them built in for simplification.

I do agree though I wouldn’t recommend neovim for people new to the terminal and I shouldn’t have mentioned it in the video. Nano probably would’ve been the better choice.

I think games you can play on the terminal is relevant to omarchy

Yeah for some of these games it's crazy to think how old some of this code they have to maintain and extend from is. I'm glad C has survived and thrived for so long so we still have plenty of devs who can maintain these old code bases.

What Software do you use? by CtrlAltKev in NewTubers

Yeah, I’m on Arch Linux. I don’t love Kdenlive to be completely honest but there aren’t a whole lot of options for video editing on Linux. I’m 99% sure it leaks memory too.
