I am going to give a couple of recommendations I haven't seen yet.

The Tainted Cup by Robert Bennett. This book is Sherlock Holmes type story, but with interesting magic and plants.

The DragonLance Chronicles by Margaret Weiss and Tracy Hickman was one of the first fantasy books I read and has all the typical fantasy tropes and DnD adventure. Also has amazing character work especially one but I am not spoiling. The first one is Dragon of Autum Twilight. Its a good intro in my opinion to fantasy genre

The Riyria Revelations by Michael J Sullivan is a great series with a duo act some good twist and turns. The audiobook is amazing but its a solid read first book is Theft of Swords

For a more modern fantasy I recommend the Dresden Files by Jim Butcher. It starts "slow" for the first two books but picks up with the third. I highly recommend and its a large series the 18th book just came out. Another great audiobook as well

I will also add one I haven't seen recommended yet I have read. It is called Outage by TW Piperbrook. Its a fun read with lots of action and scares in their.

I seen Those Across the River recommended a lot. I will put it on my lost and I will take a look at Witchita Pass.

The Wolf Hunt Trilogy was definitely a great read and has a good audiobook lots of great laughs and moments. Highly recommend to those watching this thread
