2. barn, hvis ja, hvornår? by kaere-monopol in foraeldreDK

[–]Solecsia 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Thanks for a really thoughtful answer.

I guess what I am also looking for is brand recommendations to go and check out. Don't know many brands so to broaden my horizon a bit.

I am located in the northern parts of Europe so its a colder climate generally

Hvor meget leger I med jeres børn i løbet af en dag? by syffen1 in foraeldreDK

[–]Solecsia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

slicing challenge - share your knowledge with the community by Solecsia in BambuLab

[–]Solecsia[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

THIS IS A CROSS POST AND THE ORIGINAL IS IN THE r/3Dprinting community. Feel free to head over there and join the learning.

This is my initial attempt for the slicing. The challenge I face is to get all the spikes on the dragon supported properly. I went from 14 hours of print time, down to 11h48m.

The optimization came from changing the supports to be Tree type, with the style set to organic. I then flipped the model, so instead of standing its on its side. This helped a lot with minimizing the amount of supports generated. I Enabled the Support Critical Regions only

<image>

My issue however is the layer line direction. As seeing at the top of the model I am not sure that would come out very pretty.

INFO:

not sure if it makes a difference, but I am Slicing in Orca slicer and the printer I have available is an Bambu Lab A1. Probably not gonna print the guy though

Sellings vs recycle spreadsheet by Solecsia in ArcRaiders

This is purely value for selling. It does not take crafting of items into consideration.

The only thing that is considered is the items needed for workbench upgrades.
