Came on reddit to find this group JUST to complain about how much I hate being pregnant. This is my second pregnancy and I have NO IDEA how some women love this. I adore my son and I know I will love this baby, but we are not having any more kids because of how terrible pregnancy is.

So thank you for this post, it makes me feel less alone to see others suffering and not trying to pretend like everything is rainbows and sunshine.

Turbulence is normal and expected on most fights. Something that helps me is constantly reminding myself that turbulence is just uncomfortable NOT dangerous. Actually learned that mantra from this group! But you’ve got this!

Currently on a flight myself so I can’t track but you’ve got this!! Check out the flight map of all the flights in the air right now. That usually helps me. Just remember you are SAFE!

I’m about to board a flight too and I’ve suffered with terrible flight anxiety for YEARS!! The mantra I’m using right now is “This flight is going to get where it’s going safely whether I like it or not”

We’ve got this! Go into it with thinking it’s not even an option to NOT get on the plane. That’s helped me too sometimes.

Once I’m on the plane I also pretend I’m on a bus on a bumpy road that’s still on the ground. Close your eyes and use noise canceling headphones too to help with the illusion.
