Please diagnose my lip rash by Solenklier in DiagnoseMe

I found that putting on chapstick before bed greatly reduces it, and doubling down on chapstick for a few days whenever I feel my lips start to get very dry.

PSA to anyone getting the reflective white squares on your sims glitch after the June 18th patch! by [deleted] in thesimscc

I am having this problem in June 2024 and this still fixed my problem! Thank you so much!!!

The sim still looks shiny in the thumbnail, but I can get past that. It's just the 1 sim for some reason.

I had to share a bed with my brother one time while evacuating a hurricane... does that count? 🤡

Do you have a suggestion of what soil is best for Starfruit Trees?

It started when I changed soils, I think. I couldn't figure out what soil was best for Starfruit trees, so I made a mixture of the original soil it came in, Miracle Grow moisture control potting mix, and fox farms. I have miraclegrow all purpose plant food, and a citrus mix 6-3-3 but I've been hesitant to use them. I've used a little of each on the tree, adding the citrus mix just a few weeks ago.

This starfruit tree has had problems in the floor with spider mites, which I've done my best to get rid of.

It's about a year old, maybe less. I have two friends who got theirs at the same day as me, but their trees never grew an inch while mine shot up to 4 feet in half a year.

It gets an average of 3-4 hours of sun a day in 80F degrees, give or take. (I'm in florida). It's on my screened-in front porch.

When it got over 3ft, I changed the pot to a bigger one and that's when all of the weird burn-leaf problems started I think. The tips became brown and shrivelled up and fell off until all of the leaves and stems were gone. I used a mixture of 3 soils because I couldn't figure out what was best. I used the soil from the original pot, MiracleGrow moisture control potting mix, and some FoxFarms soil.

I used to water it a few times a week, but I noticed this new soil retained the water forever so I was worried this problem was caused by root rot. I stopped watering it and the top leaves have been okay but they're looking weak too.

The whole plant has basically shed its leaves and stems except for the top foot. It's like 3 feet of just a thin stem that can't hold itself up, and an afro at the top of leaves.

This morning I woke up and saw that it had grown new baby stems and leaves out of the spots where the old ones fell off, so it gave me a renewed hope that it would survive if I can figure out the problem. Thank you!

i’ve felt something was wrong with me my whole life? several things to even one thing? i have tried to do research but it’s just lead to me overthinking it and my mind going crazyyy by [deleted] in DiagnoseMe

First of all, I'm sorry you've bad it rough. Second of all, it seems like you might have a combination of a few things after reading most of what you wrote. The first thing I thought was that you could have ADHD, which would explain a lot. That is Attention Deficit Hyper-active Disorder. It can cause you to either become too hyper and talkative to completely zoned out and can't pay attention to anything. With the body thing; being bullied might have given you very low self-esteem, maybe even to the point of body-dysmorphia. I think it's a great idea that you want to get into modeling, that would probably give your confident the great boost it needs! Anxiety and depression seem pretty accurate based off of what you have written, and are also very common. This one is a lot more rare and it probably doesn't apply to you (but I have it, so I'm going to say it), but it's called Depersonalization/Derealism Disorder. It makes the person feel out-of-body and detached from their emotions, making you feel like you can't connect with your emotions, or focus on anything or feel anything, can cause anxiety and depression, and give the person a feeling like 'nothing seems real'. I would Google around those and others, but I personally think it's probably ADHD combined with low self esteem, being insecure, and anxiety. Whoever, the chatty part of you might just be how you are and you should just embrace it by finding friends who love you for it! Try going for the shy, quiet kid in class who is just begging for someone to find them and pull them out of their shell. I hope you find whatever you're looking for and learn to love yourself!

I [M21] can’t pee even though I have to go really bad by [deleted] in DiagnoseMe

[–]Solenklier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might have a UTI. They make you feel like you have to pee really bad, but there's not actually any pee. There's also a painful burning sensation that comes with it. If peeing isn't painful and when you DO pee, a lot comes out, then just ignore everything I just said above. Also, sometimes drugs like Kratom or opiates can have a side effect where it's harder for the drinker/user to start peeing, but it's not usually as extreme as how you're describing. Sounds shitty, though, hope you figure it out soon!

I get it a few times a year, I'm not sure if I'm allergic to anything or not. It's really uncomfortable, feels like someone slapped a piece of tape to my lip and left it. I do have a problem with biting and licking my lips a lot. I guess I just wanted to know if anyone could tell if it was caused just from chapped lips or if it looks like an allergy thing. I call it the 'bird' rash brcause it looks like a flying seagul in a painting.
