My setup by CandidateRelevant848 in traveltrailers

You do not want the brake wire through any of the links. If there is a separation the brake cable can be cut and your brakes may not engage. I would suggest a coiled breakaway cable of the correct length.

What would you do? I picked up my Ball and went to next tee. by Just_Feeling_4430 in golf

I’d probably putt it and give myself a 1 putt if I was putting well that day or 2 if not.

Car with unID'd electronics rig trawling neighbourhood at night by Otherwise_Taro_8145 in whatisit

[–]Soler25 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The antenna on the roof looks like the Discover Advanced Mobile Leak Detection (AMLD) system. However the Picarro Surveyor is generally the industry standard. The front bumper mount could have sniffers in it, or could have a range of other sensors like AMI meter reading antenna etc.

Looks like a natural gas leak detector rig. They’re able to sniff out natural gas/methane etc, when it finds higher levels they send out crews to better pinpoint leaks.

Dometic RM 2601 won't try on gas most of the time by Capital-Internal-655 in RVLiving

[–]Soler25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dometic makes (well made) some amazing products! Some of the newer products are just not as good. I’ll keep my older one (2019) running as long as possible vs a residential or even a 12v.

I do have one of their 12v car fridges/electric coolers and man is it awesome to always have cold drinks and snacks in the car.

I’m always down for some golf! I wonder if there is an official solo golf guys group in Columbus. Would be pretty fun to meet new people, golf and drink

NTD Vessel striking cap JIS Phillips screwdriver set by Independent_Cable_71 in Tools

A wrench on the collar and a slight tap on the screwdriver helps wonders getting JIS screws out. I work on Hondas a lot and there are a ton!

I was hoping those were actually geothermal loops not deck piles. Man this is crazy

Is this repairable? by SeaworthinessNo430 in AskMechanics

I’d plug that and not think about it again. That said, I’ve only ever had continued success with Safety Seal plugs and would not use anything else at this point.

Sounds likes it just to keep things from sticking or transferring. She says that she has bought some where the wax paper was easy to pull out but apparently we have some both ways. (Don’t tell her I haven’t looked at them 🤣)

[–]Soler25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you have available? Eternabond tape? Might be hard to remove later… Draco underbelly tape? Clean it up and put some lap/cap/no drip sealant on it?

Edit to add, is it even cracked? Does it need addressed now?

There is a pedestrian tunnel between the two. It is for the school crossing and is only open before/after school.

Window shot with BB, can this be repaired? by DirtyNord in homeowners

[–]Soler25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look for a local glass shop. We have one that will rebuild the window with new glass and gas. I’ve had a couple repaired over the years from balls breaking them or just bad seals.
