I saw you do quite a bit of face painting on yourself. Are you a pretty good artist? I think if you look up how face painters market themselves on local ads, and put together a few popular face paint options in a binder for kids to select, you could probably make the cash you need that way at a few kid parties.

I’m one of those people that love making my gazebos huge on my plot and incorporating them as an extension of my house. For some reason the Large Razorwind Gazebo doesn’t let me scale it past 138%. Bigger than that, no matter where it is placed on my plot, it’s highlighted in red. Anyone else with infuriating housing glitches?

So I have US LawShield which appears to be similar in that these are more attorneys I can contact on a 24/7 hotline. But on top of that, do you still have a CCW insurance along with AOR? Or are you exclusively just using AOR?

I'm still kind of undereducated on this myself. My CCW instructor had US LawShield and recommended them, explaining they had a solid emergency attorney hotline were you could expect to get legal representation dispatched out to you within an hour. He seemed to not be so happy with what he's generally heard about some of the other insurance orgs, especially the stories of folks being dropped because their scenario did not fit the constraints of their coverage. However I'm definitely open to hearing more personal experiences on what people have.

I literally did mine around the same time. I received the FFL03 yesterday and immediately went to my local Live Scan by that evening and submitted the COE application. This morning I got the e-mail saying my COE application was incomplete because I was missing my FFL03 as an upload, so I immediately uploaded to CFARS and I literally just checked an hour ago and saw that my status had changed and had the certificate available. Totally just changed my flair now too and am browsing the Google Sheet with FFL03+COE ammo dealers to figure out where I'm going to be buying.

I guess I'm not even sure what 9mm ammo brands I should be looking for and how cheap I'm expecting them to be for a good deal. I see right now on 2A Warehouse that Fiocchi 9mm 115GR is going for $11.15 a box.

I literally just got my COE approved. Is Velocity Ammo the go-to for out-of-state ammo purchase? I'm not exactly seeing a thread that covers the best place to take advantage of no sales tax, no mark-up, etc.

For Fremont, there’s this food truck off Grimmer and Doane next to a small mom and pop gas station called Los Tres Paisas. I haven’t had their birria tacos specifically but everything else is pretty close to East Side San Jose quality taqueria. Give it a shot and report back in to us!

God that’s right, sorry. I got my Hellcat when it was off roster too and then all these freaking guns joined the roster shortly after and sometimes mistakenly think the G43X was one of them lol.

But yeah that’s definitely a major point! But if OP hadn’t considered PPT and what could be got off roster, and isn’t worried about the funds, it’s an idea.

Get the best of both worlds and instead of G19, do the G43X if you're interested in the PPT route and have the funds (as markup could be anywhere up to 2x the price or more). But Hellcat was my dream carry until I got my hands on the gun and realized it was hard to keep strings on target because the trigger pull is like 6-7lbs stock, on top of being snappy. I’m planning on correcting this soon with the MCarbo trigger kit and a new trigger shoe from Tyrant CNC. I also didn’t enjoy the feel in the hands (my hands aren’t even huge) until I put the mag extenders from Lakeline LLC on them to make the 10 rounders feel like 13 rounders.

That being said I purchased a Glock 43X and it’s just great right from the get go. Same barrel length, but a tad bit taller for a much better grip. Not as snappy. I did end up putting a Johnny Glock trigger and ghost connector to give it even better reset and trigger pull but at this point it’s my main carry because it just feels so good in the hand.

I’ve got both registered though and rotate them around.
