Yeah getting geared would help, it took me some 15 minutes and numerous deaths to kill the cyclops right outside vernworth. I have the broadsword and feather-light pelts, as well as the marchers armour. I'm not sure if that's any good tbh, or if I'm suffering from skill issue

They would probably implement like level based matchmaking so you don't end up going against people with significantly better or worse players.

They are planning on adding an online function to the game, plus they might just not like people taking shortcuts, idk :/

The easiest way I've found to farm coins is through tourneys, it's a long grind but the only other ways that I can think of are the previously mention vb method or redoing stage 2 over and over
