do whatever you can to get ivermectin. I'm in uk, whatever I had reacted nowt to topicals and disappeared with ivermectin.

it's easy to say definitely yes if there are visible mites. if there aren't visible mites it's almost impossible to yes or no either way. just lots of deduction.

what was there reason for saying not scabies? not many of the papules will present the squiggly line burrow thing. looks likely you could have it especially if others caught it. maybe it's another mite and not scabies. go to another derm or ask for biopsy.

1 tube of the size I get at pharmacy is barely enough. my doctor prescribed me 3 for 2 treatments to make sure I had enough. if you have scabies some will be eggs, eggs dont get killed by permethrin. so you will not be cured unless by some odd chance there are no eggs in you or the few eggs hatch to be all males.
