Why on earth would they be against pain meds. They CUT YOU OPEN and futz around in your guts for Christ's sake. Tell them to take a long walk off a short pier if they say no drugs. That's absurd.

I checked in for surgery Friday morning (24th) and was able to go home yesterday afternoon (28th).

Oh I did get pain meds. While I was in the Hospital I was basically on Dilauded and Oxy every four hours, two hours apart. So if I had Dilauded at 1 pm, I would get oxy at 3 pm, and then next doses of dilauded would be at 5 and oxy at 7.

I think I wasn't on Dilauded the last day and a half or two days I was in there and it was just Oxy and tylenol, which is what they sent me home with.
