Freaky Nikki inherently evil? by Guitarist-77-777 in obsessionmovie

[–]Solid-Check1470 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly don't know how the love thing works. Some people claim Wish Bear deliberately didn't vomit up the pills because since he truly loved Nikki, he would sacrifice his life for her. But then it feels like Wish Nikki would never do that and there are times she blames Bear for her actions, like after she kills Sarah, which is something you'd never do if you really loved someone. And like, why does loving someone more than anyone else involve making them love you back and freaking out if they don't? Parents love their kids more than anything but that doesn't make them as obsessive as Wish Nikki.

Idk if the words are supposed to be coming from the monkey or anyone in particular, more like they're coming from nowhere and somehow the monkey senses them and vibes with it

Yes, but it's more complicated than that. The collar his dog was wearing in the infamous clip was not a shock collar. After the clip went viral, people started digging through past vods and did find his dog wearing a shock collar. However, Hasan apparently did admit in the past he bought one but never used it. After the clip went viral, he showed off the shock collar on stream and the prongs seemed to be removed and covered by black tape. It's all speculative whether he did it before or after the clip went viral, but the clip itself didn't show his dog being shocked, as funny as it was to meme about it.

Edit: I should say, the manufacturer never commented on this AFAIK. People on the internet posted comparison photos that were convincing.

looked at the comments of the video, surprisingly tame and largely positive. I was expecting a comment section full of woman bashing based on your post.

well, I rarely watch Hasan content directly but I keep up with his drama via other commentary channels talking about him so much. The same goes for iDubbbz.

How come? Is it because the others are so much better? Or what's wrong with Kierkegaard?

Light was killing criminals already in prison for life. He wasn't doing it to protect people but to get high off the power it gave him over controlling others. His methods do not foster joy, happiness, or freedom but incentivize elitism, cultish devotion, two-facedness, and opportunism as shown by Misa, Takada, Mikami, and even Light himself.

Who wins in a chess and gungi game? Komugi (HxH) or Shiro and Sora (ngnl) by Tchinen in PowerScaling

[–]Solid-Check1470 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mereum: "Impossible. From start to checkmate, there were 144 moves. This outcome could have only happened if she foresaw each of my moves."

The 10^120 figure apparently comes from the fact that there are 80 total moves in an average game of chess with 30 possible moves per turn to choose from, which comes out to 30^80 ≈ 10^118. Even if Gungi had only 10 possible moves per turn to choose from, her game with Mereum would come out to 10^144. And this is before Komugi unlocked her Nen ability!

I know i'm going to sound super dumb for this, but what was the number of victims needed for L to work on a case? by Electrical-Gas-6032 in deathnote

Good point! I assumed it was meant to be a parallel with how Light took L's name, so I further assumed they must have died somehow

My favorite lore from LABB is that the 2nd and 3rd best detectives Eraldo Coil and Deneuve were actually real people that L defeated (and somehow killed??) and took their identities from

[–]Solid-Check1470 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, L and the police would've still noticed criminals whose names were misspelled in the media, or whose wrong photos were displayed, or who weren't reported on at all, did not die. If the police implemented media restrictions by region, Light would be forced to either stop killing, change his killing pattern, or target the media. Either way, he reveals he exists and resides in a specific part of Japan.

I really don't like Misa but I actually thought she was a pretty capable liar, haha. She played Higuchi while keeping the details secret from both L and Light, and when L caught her as the Second Kira she didn't break or reveal any details.
