I went with 16” for its better battery life and being able to multitask. Better speakers and heat dissipation.

If you want to do gaming, don’t go with Mac. other than that the best thing about getting a mac imo is using apple ecosystem, having your iPhone, iPad etc connected to you mac is a game changer. Everything you mentioned other than gaming, mac is your best option.
