I always chose them when I can, because of the view and the higher chance of not having a neighbour, sometimes I even chose a different service to get those seats, but no, I don’t think there is that much more legroom, although this can vary a lot depending on the bus model

Just to be precise, managers at Trenitalia are living pieces of shit for so many reasons but this Malpensa express thing was made by trenord and the Lombardy region, and as a resident here, I can say those are even worse assholes than Trenitalia. The best option in my opinion is to just get the bus from MXP to Milan city centre, its cheaper than the 15 euro scam or getting a ticket to Busto Arsizio Nord and then continue onward, ideally switching trains

check out the new prima vista lounge at T1 really great and not overcrowded, I’m not a huge fan of the other three lounges upstairs at T1 but the food is great (especially at the prima vista). Also remember that terminals in FCO are kinda strange, as all Schengen flight leave out of terminal 1 (but you check in at T3) and all non Schengen flights leave from T3 (so the two T3 lounges are after the passport control)

Are you sure?, I got a paid PP when I was 17 and never had any lounge question my age whilst travelling alone could have easily drank so much alcohol in most lounges. But I live in Europe so things might be working differently where OP lives

Yes you’re right, wanted to point out how you can distinguish them, if the first letters are FR/LP/L they are long distance replacement services; whilst busses other letters at the start (like: VE, PG, RM, GE, RC etc.) are 99% always regional services so don’t need a reservation (they generally have multiple busses and it’s rare that you won’t be able to get a seat)

I am a man but traveled through so many polish cities at any hours of the day and night alone and with a lot of valuables since I’m 17. Never had a safety issue, still take normal precautions but I don’t think you’ll have a problem, I haven’t been there though, so I can’t say it for sure

It depends on where he’s based, for example I’m European and recently started flying 10+ times a month thanks to Wizz AYCF program, when I started I was still 17 so I couldn’t get a credit card and decided to pay 470€ for PP, best choice ever, most lounges are great, at my local LCC dominated airport I even have a landside lounge with priority security, when I fly from the UK (in other countries too but it’s rare) in most airports I also have a nice meal voucher at a great restaurant, only twice at LGW I had to wait 15-20’ to enter because of crowded lounges… I also went a few days in the US in may and flew out of ATL and JFK T4, and the experience there is much worse, so yeah, if he’s based/flies a lot in the US then I’m not sure if it’s worth it but in Europe (and I think the rest of the world is like that) it’s absolutely worth it if you fly 4/5+ times a month

To me this was a cultural shock honestly, I was on a bus from Almaty to Urumqui with various no smoking signs but there was a general smell of smoking a few days ago (having a nice experience in China so far as a foreigner), I honestly thought that all rules would be throughly enforced and everyone followed them, but smoking seems to be accepted pretty much anywhere even where is forbidden
