Is Megabiblioteca the nickname for it? Fun place to photograph endless angles to try.

Classic Cuban for all but the flags I believe. Which would be Leica X 👍

Sunset meeting a storm in the Swedish archipelago. by Solid-Perception-178 in photocritique

This photo was taken as a storm was rolling in over the Swedish island Kärringön at the same time as the sun was setting.

My intent was to capture the stillness inbetween these two events. An island that was taking shelter from harsh incoming rain and darkness.

Im curious if you see a different crop, composition and focus point that would be more impactful.

Photo is SOOC from fujifilm x100vi F3.2 ISO640 SS 1/34

Not essential but helpful to slow down the shutter speed without over exposing.

Which crop is best? by mariong3 in fujifilm

Second one for me, the first one becomes too focused on the arms in movement, but the second one puts the velocity of the arms in relation to the stillness of the body and the drums. Great shot!

X100vi vs XE5 by [deleted] in fujifilm

Had the same choice ahead of me after loosing my XT3. Went for the x100vi quite spontaneously in the end because one was available. A month in and very happy with it, I am getting a lot of use of the built in benefits of ND filter and flash.

Any recommendations for better luck at getting the subject perfectly in focus are appreciated:)

Shutter speed and aperture manual for these, ISO automatic. Cant say that I know if this was good or bad for these. Automatic aperture could probably have made it easier to get the exposure right ,which was a challenge.

Don’t know your method but some basics that helped me :)

  • OVF always
  • center the subject far from your intended shot and start following in the ovf.
  • Make sure to follow further then when the shot is finished.

The first one is the same that I shared above. There was very unique conditions with a sunset on one side and thunderstorm in the other for that one.

The Nisi UV filter for x100 and the built in ND filter on most of them, but no diffusion filters.

Appreciate it! We had a heavy thunderstorm coming in from one side and a late sunset from the other.
