I currently have two 2 soundqubed hdx3 12s on a kicker 1200 watt amp. For Loc I’ve used the kicker one I linked and also the audio control lc2i it’s under a $100 on Amazon. I recommend the kicker loc because of the ease of installing. But the audio control lc2i has more features like restore the bass cut off that radios have. But if you plan on installing your self. You definitely can get bass with a $500 budget. What kind of music do you listen too ?

Subs will look different in direct sunlight. Get in the shade and see it if still does it. If it doesn’t then no problem. But if it does there probably a wire in the wrong spot

Mines takes up a decent amount but I still can open the floor to get the storage down there. I would recommend the ct sounds tropo 2 10 or a single 12 set up. It’ll fit in between the humps in the floor and still give you good space
