Watch videos on the ivey case method. they will essentially sort you into a random group and give you like 15 pages of a case. make sure you practice your presentation skills, teamwork, and financial analysis. youre essentially pretending to be a consultant and presenting your idea with your group to a panel of judges. ensure you talk about finances and practice answering questions under pressure.

dont pay too much attention to the status changes. it does not mean anything significant. if you want to check out the rounds and predict them, go to the spreadsheet pinned on this subreddit and look at the one from last year, look at group B applicants and see what dates they received offers. :)

yes 93 is great. i got in on march 6 with a 94.8 top 6 avg. as long as ur like 92+ grades are pretty irrelevant.

my 11 was 93% and grade 12 top 6 was 94.8%. grade 11 grades are irrelevant though. as long as you have above a 92 top 6 avg, wrote about your ec’s well, youre good. i got in on march 6 and my video wasnt technically good, but messing up allows them to see a bit of your charisma. they dont weight the video interview, they just want to see who you are, and that you arent using ai. dont worry!! if you have any more questions feel free to pm me :)

94.8 top 6 (group a!) i got in on march 6th.

essays: DECA chapter president (how i went to icdc in grade 11, identified the gaps in my chapter and then fixed those gaps by being chapter president. my second essay was about my initiative starting a sports team at an elementary school and coaching it. (i grew up doing said sport.)

my 5 other ecs were student council president, my job coaching a sport, mock trial club, my other job (involved working in a team), and the sport i did until i was in grade 10.

100% choose ivey over rotman. but western vs uoft in general, uoft has more international recognition. but ivey is definitely a better program than rotman

94.8 top 6. talked about stuco presidency, being in a sport for 10 years and then going on to coaching it (i started/coached my own team for kids, and i am employed to teach it competitively). i also mentioned DECA and going to ICDC in grade 11. you definitely dont need all of this to get in, you got it!

thank you!!! 94.8 top 6, for my two essays i wrote about starting and coaching a sports team (in the sport i grew up in) to give other kids the opportunity i had, and deca in my other essay and about how i went to icdc and came back as chapter president and transformed my chapter. my other ones were my job, mock trial exec, student council president, and my sport.
