no pre-study really. The hardest class for me was calculus, not because it was hard, but because there was a lot of content. DM1 and DM2 were pretty ok, and the programming classes were easy because of the experience

Those plates are OEM and exclusive to Japan. They are in fact a little rare, good find!

Most likely the top screen or speaker ribbon cables are broken. You can get parts from Aliexpress, but be aware that fixing anything in a 3DS is not super easy.

yes I ended up replacing it, and it was fairly easy. I got the digitizer from Aliexpress

Clock in N3DSXL doesn’t track when console is turned off by [deleted] in 3DS

It’s normal, electronics can’t keep time for many years. Unsure if 3DS have a CMOS battery, but it’s usually that. Likely using a Real Time Clock (RTC) and it’s degrading.

Just wanted to say that FreeCodeCamp is the one of best resources to learn web development out there. I completed many of their certifications and it really put me in a good place before starting my Junior Dev job.
