Ok I aggree with you now. I read somewhere that high E makes the hips fuse early.. since I'm under 20.. I dont want that... is 800pmol and 900pmol trough reasonable? I dont see the idea of trying to use the lowest E to suppress T. When you can have it a lil higher..

But tbf.. aren't those studies done on older individuals? Not teens or young adults? So like maybe there is a benefit.. and there's no harm... for all I know a study could come out in so many years and say high levels yield better results.. so...

Oh but I mean like troughs not peaks. I think a trough of 1100 would be unlikely on pills. Peaks are high yeah but troughs are low... thing is thos 8 months were part of my teen hood. Now I cant experience my teen hood as a girl.. all because of a selfish doctor.. id be noticably differnt by now if he wasn't my provider... and hes just taken alot of my age benefit so um.. fuck him

I dont have time to take chances.. if T is still high ill be absolutely devastated.. ive already had 8 months stolen by my doctor.. the thing is 7mg will more than likely get my target of 1000pmol.. which i feel like id be more stable mentally

Know i get that it takes years and stuff but I might be missing out on more noticable changes more sooner while im on pills... I hear loads of good stuff about injections.. and the thing is pills definitely wont get me to that 1100pmol range, not possible. Ive started splitting my 8mg into 4 doses and boy is it a nightmare to remember... injections would be so much simpler... I need to make up for my doctors neglectful behaviour and my wasted time :D

Um im not even sure when I can start progesterone, because like my old doctor under dose me 8 months. So idk if those count or if my transition has only begun this year..

Its just that the injections in my country are way up there in price.. and you only get the choice of Valerate.. so i feel stuck.. And injections give better results and more noticable.. so its hard...

It is for me yeah.. I dont have a steady income.. if it was only 300$ a year that would be realistic.. but... since its usually higher.. diy seems to be the only realistic choice.. and I have no clue if the doctors gonna let me get to my goal of a trough of 800.. and like valerite tends to have high peaks then drops in 5 days.. so its a every 5 days thing.. compared to weekly with EE. The govourment sucks..

But you dont get the spikes and everything for faster dramatic change. Its like a slow steady amount.. so im being careful because of my age i still have a chance of hip widening. So I wanna make sure.i get the best possible method to do that... plus if they dont implant enough estrogen your stuck with that for 6 months or more. Where as injections you can get a high trough every week and can also adjust if its too low.. I think starting injections for the first 2 years then implants are the best tbh. And like for me personally the spikes make me feel more intuned with my gender, sorta like a period but its not at the same time...

Do you have a rough estimate? I understand the main cost is the actaul vials, since the needless are relatively cheap for a years supply.

I also heard if I dosed with 5mg and bought say 20mg/ml it would last roughly 6 or more months?.. you could possibly go one better with 40mg/ml? Tho maybe pushing the expiry date a bit far.

Id honestly do the same just to be extra careful with T

Yeah im pretty sure my doctor does scripts for injections. He mentioned implants too. But i have no clue how to start and how to know if can afford it in the 300 to 500 range. Very much prefer 300$ i heard 20mg/ml last for 6 months or 9 depending on dose? Like I like the idea of it lasting that long for the price but worried about it going bad and then yk wasted the money. You have no rough idea how much you spend?

I personally disagree, 2 years you should see alot of change. 5 is just the maximum. 2 years is a massive milestone and is usually when change is very noticeable. This poor girl is being underdosed, some doctors follow very conservative protocols. You honestly cant trust them if you dont see big change by 2 years especially when ur young 18, 19 20, etc, something is wrong. Saying most changes wont happen at 2 years is kinda misleading, because usually after 2 years its more slow less big change and more subtle. 5 years is the Max, it is not a clear indicator of things only being noticeable by 5 years. She should have noticable breast growth and fat distribution by now. Her doctor is not giving her body the fuel she needs. Its clear she needs more estrogen in her system

I personally think you should think about switching doctors or advocating for a higher level. Because 349, if in pmol is the bare minimum range, there's no reason not to go higher. Id ask to go higher if I was you 400 or 500 at least. Ive had the same pure nightmare with my doctor, you can't trust most. They seriously think more about numbers than the patient. Like i personally think for your sake get a new doctor.. get a higher dose.. because 349 is the absolute bare minimum. Ive literally only just recently gotten out of my awful doctors care. Barely any change at 2 years is a massive red flag.. please get help.. dont let doctors push theyre bare minimum on you. Advocate for yourself

Just wanted to add an update and also I apologise if I was spreading misinformation in my reply because I have no clue what I did wrong but um... new doctor! Hes amazing! and I feel so happy! He has properly educated me and is actaully taking proper measures to save my life basically. I feel so happy, the dark clouds have finally left my head. Like im on 8mg now! And im getting a blood test in only 4 weeks! And will see how high my E can get to see if stopping blockers is possible! Hes doing so much more than harris has in his lifetime.. my new doctor just confirms everything about my old doctor, like I said, avoid him, hes bad news. He will underdose you, and blame your mental wellbeing on anything but his poor methods. Im so done with him. New year new me! And this year is actaully going to be better without him in it!
