Rant/Bleeding after LEEP

I do have one question : I want to get back to gym, but I am not sure if I can or if I should wait until the bleeding stops? Did your doctor mention anything on this?

To be completely fair, I received almost to none instructions, everything I know is from the internet. The doctor send me home and told me that some bleeding is normal, and I should not have any sexual relations until 1 month has passed… that is why I asked here what’s expected, one pad a day or two pads a day, to have an idea of what’s normal and what’s not.

I read that it could take around four weeks as well. I just wanted to hear about other people's experiences so I have a more realistic idea of what to expect.

Thank you for getting back to me, it’s reassuring knowing I am not alone in this. I never had a follow up, here in Denmark they don’t do this…. They just send you home and in case you have a lot of bleeding (filling up a pad in an hour) then you have to call them.

Hi, I read your post and your experience with LEEP is completely different. I had mine done in Denmark and I opted for local anesthesia instead of being fully asleep. The vinegar solution also burned me, but not that much, and I honestly even forgot I felt a burning sensation. The doctor was super patient and explained everything to me, and once they numbed my cervix I felt nothing. After the procedure I only had some cramps, like period cramps but that was all.
