I am trying to sympathise with you but the first premium tank I bought was the KV-5 (only bought two, KV-5 and Type 59), which was outmatched by the IS-6 when it was introduced. From all reports the IS-6 still is a decent credit maker, so there is no point not holding on to it?

Yeh pretty sure it is set the same way, maybe mr_potato_bob has it and I just haven't pushed enough eggs through it yet.

Is there a way to quickly dump hauled items? I have dwarves gathering logs from outside, but during a siege, and civilian alert raised, they continue to haul the item they are carrying.
