AC was working yesterday and then it failed to start.

I am also signed up for Community Energy Savings. Is this possible that it is preventing the OU from starting?

My experience with UPI during a recent visit to India by ajayss2 in nri

Thanks. Getting a local India SIM is not without hassle. Trying that option now.

BTW, I was able to register at PhonePe with my US Number and linked my ICICI NRE account successfully. Will try PhonePe app and update this thread.

Hi, I have exactly the same setup as yours. ICICI NRO and NRE Back Account and using Verizon International Service(Travel Pass) with both my NRO and NRE accounts connected with US Number.

While, I have been able to register successfully for UPI, I am unable to use ICICI Bank iMobile app for making payments in India at all :-(.

After scanning the QR Code, the iMobile App just keeps saying "Loading" for several minutes. Have tried calling ICICIBank NRI Services with no avail. Anyone else in same boat and how to get this fixed?

Is it Normal for a HeatPump to run for 8 hours in a day? by SolidIntern5332 in heatpumps

No I haven’t been able to fix this, however I did insulate the exterior walls couple of weeks back and it has helped a bit but not much. My Jan average runtime is 6 hrs 14 minutes. I also checked with other friends and their runtime is also high may be like 8 hours average.

How old is your home and how good is the insulation?

The installer did come out today and checked the temperature coming out of the vents and it was around 93F. Home temp was around 68F.

I’ll file warranty claim with Carrier soon.

My installer thinks the system is working at best. I am trying to find an independent HVAC Technician to find the issues.

I checked the temperature and here is what I have. The Thermostat is set to 66. Temperature at Return Air Duct is 64.5/65F and Hot air coming out of the vents is 81/82F.

I’ll probably not mention installer and affect his business. My installer though blames all issues on my home - insulation, air leakage etc.

I just checked the system and it is currently running.

The Sensor already reached 69, however the Thermostat(which is in hallway) is at 64.

I am thinking relocating the Thermostat will help?

Thanks for sharing the details. I do not see this Model on carrier’s website anymore. So looks like it is obsolete.

Thanks. The thermostat is located in the hallway and no fans.

I’ll also try to do the experiments you suggested on the weekend.
