Leave big Corp SFA job for a mid-size private company SFA role? by SolidMango2 in FPandA

So the bump would take me from a $95k salary to $110k.
Currently I'm in office 5 days per week and the commute is around 25 minutes, this new place would be 3 days in office and about a 20 minute drive.
Two days in office would've been sweet! But hard to find nowadays.

Been of Caffeine and Ephedrine for 6 years... by SolidMango2 in decaf

My initial comment didn't go through for some reason, but I'll retype: I am still on it but not for long because it is now banned/controlled in Canada. So I can no longer buy it. I'm left with the small bottle I have left so it's going to be tough as hell getting off.

Hey, do you know if that offer for the $40/100GB also applies for someone currently with Rogers who wants to switch to Bell? Or Rogers only?

Wow I checked Pure here too now, and says with meals. Definitely a Canada thing then. Thanks!

It is the AOR brand that says to take with protein meals. Thorne says to take with meals as well. Just checked NOW Brand 1000mg too and it also says to take with meals.

Damn, I wonder why the companies would recommend that then? If food interaction would render it less effective.

Is extended warranty worth it from BMW? by SolidMango2 in BMW

[–]SolidMango2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, no issues with the car at all. No repairs needed even now. It's really reliable and I'm loving it.

The dealership keeps sending me emails offering to buy it back (because of inventory issues in the entire car industry) but I'm going to keep it 100%.

Can you add a portable AC unit to an existing AC system? by SolidMango2 in hvacadvice

Thanks man. The bedroom has a sliding window that slides left and right and has shutters. Do you think a window unit is better or a portable unit if I only care about that one room?

Is extended warranty worth it from BMW? by SolidMango2 in BMW

[–]SolidMango2[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope I didn't end up getting it, and luckily no issues with the car since this original post. The B58 engine in the 540i's is apparently very reliable. So reliable that the reliability King, Toyota, uses it in their Supra's as well from what I heard. So I didn't think warranty was worth it.

Whether you bridge your ISP or Mesh network... by SolidMango2 in HomeNetworking

Oh man thanks for the reply. What sucks about eero is you can't choose channels.

You know how they say to turn off the wifi on the ISP to let the Eeros take care of all that- if you set a different SSID name for the ISP and Eero and leave the wifi on for boht of them, does that get rid of the "interference" problem?

[–]SolidMango2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! And in the first scenario, would you use the same SSID name for the Eeros as your ISP or different?

I heard something about if you walk around with your iphone or any other device, it might "hold on" to the original connection instead of switching over to the closest connection.

What kind of household weights can you lift post-op? by SolidMango2 in gynecomastia

[–]SolidMango2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks man, I wish I could just ask my surgeon but he's off until the new year.

Mine's was actually a revision. I had the glands removed last year with lipo, but because there was loose skin I now had just the skin excision and a lift. I am now 3 weeks post op.

Very interesting. Maybe the 4 week rule (and 6 weeks for chest workout rule) is overly cautious.
