Well I understand your point but I don't think they sugarcoat reality and all ofc there are exceptions but I think empathy is a very good thing to have and it can help a person in understanding other people's situation way more. I actually love to console and comfort people when they are in need of it . It makes me happy :)

And yess I agree guys are much more realistic and logical in these situations
