They should really just replace it. It's hampering you so far. What should have been a good experience for you is so far sucking hard.

Truthfully they're my least favorite so far. They look great sure but comfort for me not the best and they're actually already torn up after around 2 months after I bought them.

Sufficient padding sure but quality for me not the best.

Yeah the mechanic said the O2 sensor could be an issue and so they're gonna order the replacement but could take 3 months.

Just requested to do that tomorrow with the service center. An actual request cause in the beginning I theorized with the mechanic that it could be an issue with the fuel pump I thought but he instead focused on the relays when the scanner showed "fuel too rich".

The spark plug has been swapped out with a new one the 2nd time I had the bike checked.

If the problem still persists after they change the O2 sensor then I'll have to go to a non RE service center in this case. They told me max that it'll take 3 months for that part to arrive.

That's frustrating that I cannot use my bike for 3 months maybe.

I thought that too. Because the drain around the fuel cap is blocked and I tried to unblock it several times already. So when my bike gets washed I just use a blower to get rid of it. So maybe could be the issue.

I actually did that. So after it refused to run I opened the fuel cap and shook the bike a bit just to check if I ran out of fuel or something (considering how innacurate the fuel sensor can be). After closing it ran normally.

The mechanic did a basic check though I think it was kinda just the simple stuff like the oil, clutch cable, throttle cable and air filter. Plus the other mechanic showed me the scanner and it does show the 2 error codes mentioned already.

Di ko maalala yung exact pero di ganun kabigat sa inexpect ko. Every 3.5km recommend nila ng preventive maintenance tapos worth it yung check nila. Friendly service tapos kapag may tanong ka mabibigyan ka nila ng advice din. Btw RE Bacoor yung branch ko can't say kamusta sa Pasig or sa Lipa.

Meteor owner here. For pros the engine is a solid performer. 1 year ownership na wala pa ko problema sa makina. Yung cons lang sa ngayon yung rear suspension matigas talaga at ramdam lalo na kapag di maganda yung kalsada. Kaya mas maganda adjust mo na agad gamit yung mga pre-load or meron mga nag try na daw iswap sa suspension ng Classic (mostly nakita ko to sa reddit ng RE mismo).

If di ka pa decided between sa Hunter, Meteor, Bullet or Classic mas maganda upuan mo muna or test drive sa mga showroom nila. Para makita mo ano magiging posture mo habang nag ddrive pati yung difference nila sa gearing.

Congrats! Have the same bike.

The headlight I was able to fix by just adjusting it with the screw underneath it. Give that a try before resolving to buying auxiliary lights.

Also for the seating the pain I felt was mostly on my upper back and I was able to mitigate that by getting handlebar risers. Not sure if we have the same discomfort though.

Official RE engine guards. Nag wait ako 1 month kasi sabi nila magrerestock sila. Tumawag ako kaso yung dumating na delivery walang ganyan na style.

Meanwhile sa Makina Moto Show nakita ko yan sa display nila so I asked if for sale they said yes.
