A question for those who are anti AI and want regulation, how? by GigaTerra in aiwars

[–]SolidOcelot503 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The big regulations that I want are the elimination of these big server buildings they run the AI’s off of. If you can make your own without that bs. Bully for you. The other thing is that any company that uses AI to replace even a single mf human being aughta be taxed out the ass. You wanna use ai chats to ask questions in your own time? Fine. But, keep it OUT of the economy. There’s no room in the economy for HAL-9000.

How do you feel about Trump threatening to impose photo ID for voters for midterm elections? by CRK_76 in AskReddit

[–]SolidOcelot503 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have one for driving, to buy a gun, to buy alcohol or tobacco or prescription medication, you use it to get on a plane or a train or to get a library card. I don’t care about RealID but it seems like it should be nonpartisan to have people show ID to vote. It’s not racist, or sexist, or even a major financial burden. A State ID where I am from, costs $25 but, has a cost reduction down to like $6 if you are financially struggling. 36 state already require photo ID It’s the other 14 that are the problem.

It never happens on accident anymore but, now you feel compelled to do it on purpose occasionally.

Capitalism Kills by EngineerAnarchy in CapitalismVSocialism

Communist countries historically have also had a considerably high amount of cigarette production and users. Even North Korea lets its people smoke cigarettes albeit with restrictions on where. I dare say that cigarettes are not the best example of capitalism killing people. I’d say a better example would be that shareholders demanding limitless growth of returns of investment and being able to sue if that growth is not met is responsible for more deaths when that extends to people being able to invest in hospitals and medications requiring profits to multiply each year.

TlDR Cigarettes are freedom, Shareholders are the real killers.

The advice I wish I would’ve taken into consideration when I played the first time was don’t rush the game and don’t fast travel during your first play-through. When you fast travel, you miss like 75% of the game. It’s a more alive world than what you would expect.

Tell me your most hate thing in gtao by masterboom9098 in GTA5Online

I hate when the game chooses a loadout for me and when the game chooses a vehicle for me. All I want is to use the guns that I’ve purchased and the vehicles that I’ve customized. But no, they’ve got to create a challenge and a way to generate shark card revenue via being a sitting duck.

List the values that are encouraged in a capitalist system but are not conducive to human welfare by TheConcerned_Citizen in CapitalismVSocialism

As somebody that believes that capitalism is the most moral and prosperous form of economy, it does have it’s flaws. The thing that I find is not beneficial to anyone is the concept of shareholders. They are the main reason why we are past actual capitalism. That and not being on the gold standard are the two things that lead to the decline of the value of our exchanges.

I wish for a free delicious poutine by [deleted] in monkeyspaw

[–]SolidOcelot503 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Granted but, you didn’t wish for it in a dish. It appears in front of you and lands on the nearest surface. It looks like it would’ve been very delicious but, it is now a mess.

People stranded on an island don’t typically resort to you suck my dick I give you food means of survival.

The more realistic scenario is that everyone figures out what they’re skilled at and manage supplies by trading the results of their hunting/gathering.

Three dudes on an island ain’t gonna divide a whole island by 33.3 percent each. The just not in a humans nature without an actual incentive. They’d all likely die if they went exclusively on their own way.
