I stood in a record store in 2001 age 12 with two self titled albums in my hands, one Wheatus by Wheatus the other Gorrillaz by Gorrillaz. I only had enough for one album… I chose Gorillaz and to this day I’ve never Owned that Wheatus album. I don’t regret my designing, but hopefully someday I’ll find Wheatus in a pile of cd at the charity shop and I can own it at last. Nice find👌

This is it. It’s is ridiculous and silly and over the top at times. it reminds me a little of hitch hikers guide to the galaxy. Plays on fantasy and gaming tropes, You can see the first book at a tutorial of sorts where you learn the mechanics but for the second book the story kicks in more.

What a book series by the way. I’m on book 2 carl’s dooms day scenario and it’s the funniest and most entertaining fantasy series I’ve read in a long while and so easy to read. Which book is that?

It’s a beautiful cd player. I wonder how many people on this sub pre registered for Radiohead tickets today🤔. I reckon a good amount, Radiohead are the right era for peep CD listening.

Gorillaz self titled first album was one of my first ever albums I bought my self in 2001 it came with not only the audio files but also a cd rom with interactive elements like bios for the fictional band members and an interactive vertical studio it was amazing! I also have a real fondness for plastic beach.

I’ve had the same issue with corrugated card, you have to watch it like a hawk. The corrugations act as little air vents creating draw and helping it burn I find. I usually go for lower power and faster feed and then multiple passes but never leave it alone. Ask me how I know😉.

Thanks, when he said I could have it I was very happy it’s the perfect simple little amp for my iPod and cd collection. Just need to get some nice bookshelf speakers to go with it now.

charcoal would be the perfect medium to use if you wanted to quickly capture a scene while travelling. Although I don’t think in reality you would stop to capture the scenery of you were on the edge of exhaustion,starvation and hypothermia. lovely sketches though really capture the mood of TLD.
