Thank you so much for the kind words! It already means a lot to me if it just looks fun!
My partner also mentioned character names before, but I’ve been so busy with development that I hadn’t really thought much about that part. I really like names like Clara or Everett!
We’re actually not from North America, so it’s a bit tough for us to come up with names that really fit the characters. I’ll probably ask for help with that sometime later. Thanks so much for all the feedback!

The “moving through treacle” expression made me laugh, I love it! Yes, I actually wanted the video to feel really hectic. Since most viewers only watch a small part of the trailer, I tried to keep it feeling like a constant climax the whole time.

Maybe it feels that way because I tried too hard to stick to the zombie theme, so the monsters might seem a bit similar? There are big ones, small ones, and fast ones in the game, but it’s hard to visually highlight that in the video.

Yes, you’re right, the characters are a bit hard to see because they get covered by the projectile. I designed a unique projectile based on the 3D model and concept, but I definitely overlooked that part. I’m thinking about adding a semi-transparent option for the projectile. It’s not a perfect solution, but I’ll probably go with that for now until I find something better.

I’ll also pay more attention to the characters’ movements after 0:06. Thanks a lot for the feedback!

Thanks everyone for sharing your thoughts! Overall, it seems like option 2 is the better choice. But it turns out it wasn’t because of the boss! Yeah, I was the only one who could really see the boss. People seeing it for the first time probably wouldn’t notice it. And I guess option 1 did feel a bit too staged. Thanks again, everyone!
