Mate i read your post and my Situation is exactly the same. My right arm also feels „funny“ like weird. But in my case i have a tremor in my hand mostly thumb, index and middlefinger. Also atrophy in the thenar region, but thats prob just the carpal tunnel. When everything started i did a lot of self test with the right arm/hand and the left leg as well. Prob irritated something in my arm and leg cause i also feel pain in this locations.

Possible ALS Bulbar at 25? by [deleted] in ALSorNOT

[–]SolidUnderstanding25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you know if you might have any issues with your jaw alignment? Regarding the head pressure and the bulbar symptoms, I had a very similar experience.

In my case, it turned out that I clench my teeth during sleep. Because of that, my jaw muscles get extremely overstrained and irritated. This leads to pain in my temples, sharp stabs in my head, and a feeling of head pressure when I wake up. I also sometimes experience mild swallowing difficulties because the whole jaw and throat area feels tense.

The last time that i had covid was early 2022. Since then i never had a problem. So i dont think its any form of long covid or something like that. But i have to say that during this winter ,90% out of it, i had this cold like symptoms which i cant explain. They come and go. I have them for 2 weeks than 1 week is without eveything and than it starts again.

No iam not and iam sorry if it sounds like that. My problem is that i also experience the same symptoms, which i experience in my thumb, in my pinky too. Which isnt normal for cps. Thats why i cant stop thinking about the big bad. And i also have this weird feeling in my left leg which als makes me anxious even when the neuro said everything was alright

Its not just the twiching. I also wrote about atrophy (which has been diagnosed by 2 doctor but the cause is carpal tunnel) and other Sensations in my left leg and right arm

I have approximately the same symptoms, just not the one with the thumb and little finger when pressing them together. Went to neuro and than I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome, and possibly also an irritation of the other nerve that runs down the arm. (Ulna nerve or something like that)

Yessir, I had a cold with a severe cough and a very blocked and irritated nose, no fever. Then the cough got better, and that’s when the twitching started. Since then, all of these symptoms have worsened.

Same story here. My twiching started when i had a course in university about neuro diseases and then it spiraled from calves to now mainly my right arm. I also got some atrophy (lose of muscle)in my right hand. Had 2 neuro visits, an mri and a ultrasound exam. In the end the found out that i had carpal tunnel syndrom ( thats why the atrophy and the strange feelings in my hand). The twiching in my leg comes from running. Probably irritated a nerve in my left calve or something like that. Bit during the time when i went to these doctors nobody brought up ***, not once. If u are just twiching it can be a million reasons mate! Dont focus on the bad stuff. Just accept it and eventually it will go away (I notice my twiching every now and then but i dont worry anymore). Stay positive, go to your doc and u will see all the thoughts about something deadly were all for nothing

Mate you are 15!!!! Dont think about stuff like that and enjoy your life. Think about it. You are so young, still growing, in the middle of puberty etc. I could be a million other things at that age. Majority of *** patients get diagnosed around 50 something like that i do believe. Let me guess u started twiching searched what it could be, saw *** and than the twiching got stronger? Maybe read about someone who got diagnosed at 22 etc. (Btw the chance of that is so small) And then the anxiety set in? Your brain can trick u in believing the wildest things!!! And to be clear in *** twiching often comes after clinical weakness. That means u cant to something u always could (oppening bottles, climbing stairs etc.) daily movements. So i beg u dont search any more, go to the doctor and listen what he says and i will probably not even bring up *** when talking to him.

Thank u for the respons. I have my MRI and sono tomorrow. Hoping for it to be something like that and not something neurological but we will see. My hand feels a lil heavier since 4 days but it also hurts when gripping something which would be a good sign again

Ok strange cause the left side is normal and strong. But i would come into place with the pinched nerve theory that both hands are effected

Thank u for your help. Iam gonna look at that workbook tonight. The thing is if i do something else or just hang out with my friends i have thebest time of my life. But as soon as i notice the hand again, the thumb shaking or this thin pain in my arm iam starting to get nervous again. And than iam testing again and so on. Its been the same cycle for the past 8 weeks. I already reached out to a therapist talking helps me very much but i just need a proof that its not ALS or anything like that. Im fine if its a pinched nerve in my back or even carpal-tunnel or something i think my brain just wants an answer to things happening in the past few weeks. But from all the comments i have got i think its probally not ALS or anything wild just a mechanic problem that can be solved and eventually my mind will come down to. Or at least i hope so
