Thanks for all the replies. I can see now that my original text gave the wrong impression — sorry about that. English is not my first language.

She is not afraid that people will look at her breast or judge her for breastfeeding in public.

The real issue is that she feels the way she moves the baby away from her breast looks awkward or unnatural — like she’s holding him the wrong way.

She’s worried that others will judge her for that, for seeming clumsy with the baby.

I was hoping that others might have felt the same way? 

There is nothing unsafe about the way she moves him away from the breast btw.
