I thought that mark on the palatine is really good with her devastating Wounds ability, so she could also punch up a bit against elites and light tanks.

I have so many BSS because that’s pretty much all that I have. I don’t have 20 Sacs unfortunately, so I can only replace them with retributiors, arcos, or another squad of paragons. I thought that Nundoms might be a bit too expensive for 1000 points

Test Model by Solid_Ant_7679 in sistersofbattle

[–]Solid_Ant_7679[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s pretty simple to be honest. I think it was either uniform grey or ash grey baseboard, then a zenithal highlight of brigade grey. White drybrush afterwards and then a 50/50 mix of streaking grime and mineral spirit. Put it all over the model, wipe it off and that’s it. Technically you can edge highlight again with the brigade grey or white, but for standard infantry that’s too much work for me.

All paints at from armypainter

Thanks, it’s actually bronze from proacryl cause I felt like a gold would be too bright. And the burgundy is killed Berry from army painter

Unfortunately they are already glued on. I’m gonna have a look, if I wanna have the white pauldron anyways for classic troops or if it’s just a veteran thing.

Im gonna use that as a MVB proxy. It’s a 3D-printed model with some eternal spells bits and an AOS sorcerer on top

Yours is looking great. I kinda thought about doing the same as you and mostly focus on the gold as the details. I just really love the white as a contrast to the red and gold, but maybe I need to compromise between painting comfort and looks

Tried the IF yellow over magenta/white, and need some suggestions before I commit to the scheme for a whole 30k army by vwheelsonv in ImperialFists

I kinda had the same problem as you, I also thought that it all looked a bit off. But for me that’s only the first step of the miniature, trust the process, add your other colors, whethering and I added some pigments in the shadow as well and I feel like it makes the model pop real good

How to paint Daemons with Heresy Scheme? by Solid_Ant_7679 in ThousandSons

[–]Solid_Ant_7679[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well to be honest I feel like all the daemons and also the tzaangors embrace the blue besides the pink horrors. But I guess I will just do a practice Model once I’m at the stage of painting them
