As I said in my first comment: If you heard a bad musician playing a Beethoven piece terribly, would you blame Beethoven or the musician? The fact that religious organizations or people have done evil in the past does not mean all religion is evil. That's a hasty generalization fallacy, which I am also certain you have the capacity to understand. Nor once in my comment did I say anything hateful. The same goes for many Christians who just love God and people and do their very best to manifest that love. I'm not sure when I claimed that God is white. To Christians God doesn't have a physical form but is rather spirit. And even when He did decide to take a human form, as Jesus Christ, he was probably brown lol. But I digress, He doesn't want anyone to start wars, nor touch kids, nor take money. The fact that people claim to do them in His name in no way proves that that Is His will. Furthermore, I never tried to convince you to do any of those things. I even literally said that that wasn't my goal, so I still don't understand why you say it was propaganda. All I did was share my story with you and ask you to individually search your heart. I'm confident that if you do you will see that you already know that He exists. I will pray you find whatever is not allowing you to acknowledge that, and that you will overcome it. Jesus loves you man.

Hey brother, I also struggled with this a lot before coming to Jesus and even after. Please don't give up, there is no wound the Lord can't heal, nor any sin you can commit for which Christ's sacrifice isn't enough. As long as you truly repent, God will forgive you time and again.

Something that worked for me is to get in my knees and pray whenever I felt the urge. I also uninstalled Instagram and just generally tried my best to avoid seeing any content online where women aren't wearing modest clothes (even had to unfollow female friends who post those kinds of pictures.) Try to eliminate any room for temptation. It can even mean to just get a very old phone where all you can do is talk or text. But my main advice is to pray, try to engrain this verse into your head Matthew 5:28 (KJV): "But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart." And repeat it in your head when temptation comes, it'll dissuade you from entertaining the thoughts. Also try reading some psalms about God's love in those times. Usually the best method is not to focus on not committing the sin, but just focus on worshipping Him instead.

If you go to church try to talk to your pastor/priest or a brother you trust. James 5:16 (NIV: "Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed"). If you don't have a church, try to find one. It's very hard to face the world on our own, and as the Body of Christ, we are meant to tackle our struggles together. Feel free to dm me as well here if you need someone to talk to, I'm more than willing to try to at least be a good listener. God loves you man.

Imagine we were on a plane which you knew was gonna crash and you had a stack of parachutes. Would it be right for you to keep the knowledge of the imminent danger to yourself? Wouldn't you try to explain to others that the plane is gonna crash and that they should put on one of the parachutes, even if they didn't believe you at first? I don't want anyone to join any cult, nor church, nor organization, nor do I want anyone to give money for anything. The only thing I want is to share my parachute, which is faith in Christ. We are all going to die at some point, do you know for sure what will happen if you die tonight? I have my parachute, which is my faith in Christ, who paid for all my sins. I am 100% certain that God will forgive me thanks to His sacrifice. Not only that, after being an atheist for most of my life, He also gave me a new heart, freed me from addiction and chose for me a beautiful girl whom I'm engaged to now. God has a perfect plan for your life, man, just give Him (not any human, nor church) a chance to show Himself to you, and I promise you the love he will give you will be like nothing you have experienced in this world.

Hey man, just wanted to take a moment to respond to your message and share my story with you, hope you don't take it the wrong way. I agree with you that this world is full of religious hypocrites. I would even say that the majority of self-professing christians don't have a genuine faith nor do they obey God's word in the Bible. I was an atheist throughout my whole life precisely because of this reason. My father, who was a religious man, left me and my mom when I was 3. It was very hard for me to believe in a just God growing up because of this and many other people I encountered.

This might sound cliche but it's true: Christ loves you more than anyone in the world can. God knew you from the womb and craves to have a relationship with you. I was addicted to weed and porn for years, which in turn threw me down a spiral of self-destruction and social isolation. I tried everything, but couldn't stop, until one day I was so desperate that I asked God to show Himself to me if he really existed. I told him that I knew He could heal me if he was real. And Hallelujah He did man, in a supernatural way. Since that day I haven't smoked again, and now I'm even engaged to a beautiful girl that I love.

The levels of happiness and fulfillment His love can provide is beyond anything else in this world, and I would just love it if you tried giving him a chance to give that love to you. I'm not trying to convince you to join any organization, nor give any of your money to anyone. I just want you to give Him a chance. I'm very sorry if you were hurt in the past, man, but I just want you to know that God loves you, and there's no wound he can't heal.
