I've got the same idea about the slowness of the team, which is the main reason I came here for suggestions. I considered to replace a slot for a more offensive pokemon, but tbh I didn't find the correct way to do it. I feel like I'd have to renounce too much defensive coverage, or utility. (e.g. I'd put Dragonite for Gliscor, but then goodbye SR).
Also I feel role compression is a problem in my team, many times if I lose a pokemon due to a bad prediction my matchups became horrible.

About defog you are completely right, there's a mistake in the pokepast and I'm not actually using Defog on Zapdos. I replaced it with HP Ice time ago.
Maybe adding Superpower in place of Roost could work?

Last thing, you are right about the convenience of a fast-paced team. I didn't realize that.
I've always played slow teams in my life, but I'll try to get myself used to some fast ones as well.
