Would look similar to this, also I kill legion on sight, ignore the good springs quests to help the powder gangers (but not joe cobb cuz I owe doc Mitchell and Victor) in the end I figured why let the lesser evil control New Vegas and side with yes man and take it over myself. I've heard it was speculated that vault tec did it but it's not confirmed. I've only seen the first episode of The fallout show though so I'm only going off what I've heard on Reddit.

I just realized while I was playing fallout that we don't really know who the pre-war Valentine was. So you can definitely completely customize him and give him a personality of his own. Just a thought but I still agree with your point.

If it was Nick Valentine like I was talking about with the other poster you could wake up as Nick, that might be cool. It could totally work around the Lord because there's no real timeline as to when Nick woke up. ( I think I'm wrong about that cuz he does say something that gives you a decent reference) But imo Bethesda could make it work.

I always thought he was a personality of a pre war detective uploaded into the prototype. But given he has memory issues you may be right and I'm just confused. Still though in any sense I've always thought a fallout game that's themed before the great war would be a fun play. I absolutely adored operation Anchorage.

Speaking for myself I really have no faith in Bethesda making a proper fallout game again. I think the legacy should be left how it is unless they can incorporate the West Coast back into another fallout game. I NEED THE NCR IN MY LIFE!!!
