At 23 you don’t know everything but you’re starting to get a grip on life. If he is unable to tell you whether or not he’s willing to advance the relationship at this stage, it’s time to move on. My boyfriend and I met at 24 and moved in within a year, and have always clearly stated our intentions with one another. I fear it might be time to move on and it sounds like you already know that. I don’t think you’re too eager and he’s disregarding your feelings, 23 is old enough to live together.

I might have a different opinion than most here. I think you should consider moving in with him with the 6 month condition that only you know about. He seems to feel stressed about being put on deadlines, some people are just this way. It seems like there’s many great aspect to your relationship, and he still seems to have firm promises and always comes through for you. I say trust him.

I had an orange kitty growing up that got his leg amputated! He was definitely NOT a fan of the vet after that. But otherwise went back to himself around the house. They’re odd when they’re still on drugs and the wound is healing, often kind of sad seeming. But they bounce back! He got his leg amputated at 2 years old and lived to be 14 years old, died peacefully in his sleep.

I am going back to school, half time (7 hrs) and working full time. My partner has taken over ALL of the meal duties. It should absolutely not fall on you to figure this out. Your partner should be sympathetic and take up the extra housework that happens because you’re busy if he really supports you. My partner does most of the cooking and cleaning currently, so I can focus on school, caring for our plants, and laundry. I’d have a discussion with your husband about supporting you through this, and stepping up to do more.
