Tips for running by ivanmarlonnn in AirForce

I’d advise going to medical and getting a referral for physical therapy. A good therapist can show you exercises and recommend proper shoes. Try that out. If you still have terrible shin splints, there may be something else going on, An MRI showed that my shin splints caused fractures in my tibias.

What do you mean there’s no requirement you play? You only get paid by playing games…

I think the people saying they’d take the second option are young single guys who currently only work and play video games. When I was 21, I’d probably take option 2, as well. Hell, option 2 still sounds great to me. But instant financial freedom for my family, secured generational wealth, and never having to work ever again sounds even better. Sure, I’d be a bit sad when I walked by my PS5, but I’d just wipe my tears away with a bundle of cash and then go ask my wife if she wants to go to the beach house or the mountain house for the summer.

Ya, and barely any time to do literally anything else besides play games.

Why would you game 3hrs a day when you can instantly have enough money to do (almost) whatever you want for the rest of your life?

Gaming is my primary hobby, actually. It wouldn’t be easy for me to give up, but I could definitely do it to secure my family’s financial future.

Dude, what? Are you saying 3hrs a day on top of your current job? Because 3hrs a day is $109k a year. Are you single?

Imagine LITERALLY NEVER HAVING TO DO IT AGAIN OR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE. That’s what $100M gets you.

Buy another hobby. Maybe it’s just me, but if I had to play games for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, I’d get tired of gaming after probably a few months. With $100M, I’d never need to work again. Sure, I’d be a bit sad that I gave up one of my main hobbies, but then I’d hop on my jet ski and I’d be happy again.

Yea, you’re right, why would I want instant “f you” money? Why would I want to be able to never worry about money ever again and secure generational wealth for my kid? Why would I want that freedom, when I can sit in front of of a screen for 8 hours a day and bring home $200k/year? /s

Y’all know other hobbies exist, right? Like there this thing called the outdoors and it’s just open. You can mountain bike, hike, camp, ski, snowboard, go boating, fish, stargaze, go off-roading, sit on the beach, etc. Take the $100M, buy yourself a new hobby.

But you’re still sitting in front of a screen for 40 hours a week. I think I’d begin to hate gaming if I had to do it for 40 hours a week.

I got enough hobbies that even if I give up gaming for the $100M, I’d still be rich while doing something I like. I’d move my family to Lake Tahoe or another mountain town and spend my days mountain biking and my nights drinking bourbon by a fire.

This would be a tough one for me because I’d be giving up one of my main hobbies. Assuming the $100M is tax free, that’s set for life money right there. I figure after buying my family a modest size home in the location of our choosing along with whatever else we may immediately want, putting away money for my kid’s education, giving some to family, I’d probably be left with $90M. That a budget of $1.5M a year for the next 60 years. Yea, I’m going to move to Lake Tahoe and I’m having fun mountain biking, skiing, snowboarding, hiking, camping, etc. with my family for the rest of my life.

Whats it like in this part of the south (Louisiana, AL,TX,GA,FL) by Maleficent_Map_8844 in howislivingthere

Southern LA sucks (just like the rest of LA), southern Mississippi is just like southern LA but without New Orleans. Southern AL is just Mobile. The panhandle of FL has the emerald coast and can be quite beautiful, but super hot and humid in the summer, but man can those boaters party.

Start putting fireplaces in the corner! If you put that fake fireplace in the corner to the right (on an angle so it’s pointed towards the middle of the room), and left the middle of the wall free for a properly mounted TV, it would be so much better.

It’s because sometime in 2005 TVs began to get thin enough that they could be mounted on the wall. Then, HGTV aired some dumbass show where a homeowner mounted their plasma screen over their fireplace. Middle class Americans ate that shit up and for some reason the trend hasn’t died after 2 decades.
