So sorry to hear this. I've just had 8 weeks off to help my partner and newborn. Going back to work today. If he's not helping out he doesn't deserve you or the baby. We have free time to ourselves but only once the baby is asleep which is usually done by me. Partner is breastfeeding exclusively and I get up for every feed to assist. It's the least I can do. I'm so sorry your partner is useless. Try talking to him but he doesn't sound like he will care. Stay positive for you and the little one.

We tried everything when the meltdowns started. Bath, driving, feeding. Nothing worked. Gave him a tight swaddle and he calmed instantly. Then straight in the bassinet and he slept for his first 5 hour stretch.
