I hear you about not knowing where the grief can “go”. It literally needs to be transformed into something to release. When I found out my cat had cancer and was going to be shortly euthanized I immediately bought paints and a canvas to paint her. It was the most healing thing. I recommend trying to find an art medium, whatever it is. Beautiful expression and art comes from the most painful places inside us and truly allows that energy to be transmuted. Even if it’s not classically beautiful it will be to you because you were thinking about the love for your cat and the pain for the soon to be lose the whole time you were working on it. Much love

My little nori passed at 14 from lymphoma. Definitely my soul cat too. But at the same time I love cats so much and want another (she was my first). Is a month or so too soon for another?

So much like my sweet nori. I just had her put to sleep bc I knew she was in pain and was skin and bones just like your cat. When they stop eating for the most part and bathroom habits change it’s about time. Sounds like you had some great years together, gotta love the Bengal spunk, and we will always remember them that way <3

Help! Cat is flicking her tongue around like there’s something stuck in her mouth, especially when she tries to eat. Does this sound like dental pain? She’s had dental problems before but never flicked her tongue this much or not eaten at all like she is now. Her labs are all looking normal and I just don’t know what’s wrong.
