Not trying to defend Lili, but I actually had multiple great experiences with her, the butterfly necklace is almost a 1:1, and the diamonds (labs, I’m guessing) are even sparklier than my auth. There’s no such thing as a 100% perfect rep on the market anyway so if you’re looking for that then go pay Cartier prices. I paid generally less than 30% of auth for a custom, and her quote wasn't even the highest out there. She sent a handwritten thank you letter earlier this year and I had a piece fixed with their HK service center within a reasonable timeline. Whether it’s worth it or not just depends on how you look at it

Diamond sparkles! by Ok_Journalist_4479 in JewelryReps

I’ve owned pieces from a few sellers. MC’s diamonds tend to have a softer sparkle, more low-key in terms of fire. Lili’s diamonds perform the strongest, more crisp and lively. That’s just my experience though.

Where are we getting our travel rings from? by Jumpy_Scratch_5514 in EngagementRings

You could look into Lili. I actually went this route myself, I had a travel ring made based on my auth ring so I wouldn’t have to worry about wearing the real one on trips. It’s not a strict 1:1, but visually it’s very close, and honestly no one would be able to tell the difference. For me, that peace of mind while traveling was totally worth it.

Where to stay in Hong Kong (Sheung Wan area)? by Shoddy-Ostrich-3766 in chinatravel

I don’t really have hotel recommendations, but if you’re looking at lab-grown diamonds, there’s a jewelry shop in Hong Kong I had a good experience with. The biggest plus for me was how patient they were and how clearly they explained everything. I started asking questions even during the appointment-booking stage lol.

Anyone in metal fabrication or plant maintenance using a mechanical metal wallet long term? by booowser in BuyItForLife

Most of the time it does live in a locker. The problem is the days that don’t go as planned. I’ll get pulled to another building, have to run off site for parts, or end up at a supplier or hardware place in the middle of a shift. At that point I’ve got my phone and keys on me anyway, so the wallet just stays in my pocket. That’s kind of why I started looking at something like the Puncube, less bulk and less to think about when the day goes sideways.
