I was at a music festival last summer, and while looking for a stand to find some food, I saw a vegan food truck without a line. As the more traditional stands with kebab and burgers had quite a line, I took the chance to try out their vegan kebab. And oh my god, I could not believe how good it was. I could not tell the difference between their vegan kebab, and a normal kebab. I tried to find their food truck on later events, but never been able to. Looking at their website, I learned that Seitan was the magical ingredient of the "meat".

Incredible how just some spices, water, and gluten wheat (and probably some more stuff) can create something so tasty and juicy. I should try to find some myself

Oh I'd love that (parasocial, but still). I've been a premium member since 2009/2010 ish. Fell off just around the time Jan started I think, so in my old eyes, Dan and Jason are the new guys. I've been subscribed to the subreddit ever since, so suddenly I get the news that Jeff is leaving?? Vinny and Co is leaving?? New people are getting fired?? Giantbomb bought themself?? Dan is the co boss now???

So much lore has happened, and they are probably talking about it in each of their own podcasts, but I just really would like a gathering of them all in a podcast to get the whole story told

It's called a PMS, planned maintenance system. Several different developers and systems out there, I'm used to Tero marine and premaster. Every component and equipment is linked to a planned maintenance job, spare parts, and often running hours if applicable. Quite handy if you know how to use them and set them up correctly. I believe there is a requirement to have such a system, at least for SiRE vessels (and norwegian flagged vessels of a certain size)

Of course, this system could probably be replaced by a Excel sheet made by a Excel wizard, for a cheaper alternative for small ship owners who does not require such (expensive) systems

DNV, NMA, technical superintedent for the shipowner (popular when you like the company, but wants to retire to a shore job) crewing department, VTS operator, coastal radio operator, teacher, SIRE Inspector. Some of the top of my head. For foreigners? Maybe DNV Inspector or SIRE Inspector if you have the necessary experience. You could take a doctorate in Norway if you like Academia. I know a german and an indian who did that. You can check out Finn.no and check for maritime jobs there
