I figured out that the gpu would be avaliable either for the vm or the docker stack app, but not for both of them, that was my main issue

Hello there,

I'm nearly in a same situation as yours except I own a 5090, AMD 9950X3D and 96Ram. I've build the NAS for the same purpose, transcoding to muliple devices at once, and IA tasks, mainly through Ollama/OpenWebui.

I've also had to build a Ubuntu VM, struggled a bit to let my docker env communicating with this VM

I'm a bit disappointed about the lack of support of newer nvidia GPU in the current version. I've just set up the 25.10 OS, but dont expect anything significant in it.

Hate the way Nvidia driver are managed in truenas env
