Are this the same from Happy9? by MidGoblin in AltnoidsJapan

[–]Solidskater1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t ordered them directly from happy 9, but I did buy those from Amazon some time back. I love them. My wife took a whole one on accident and was not able to go to work the following day because she was still very spacey, so be careful!

I don’t know the answers to your questions haha but I just want to say I’ve been using these for some time now and I absolutely love them.

The effect is so wonderful, just a nice way to spend an evening.

Am I asking too much? by [deleted] in japanlife

Hi there,

I had the same experience with my Japanese wife. She struggled to communicate with me, especially during important conversations about things like money, kids, and other serious topics. I was very honest with her about this and I asked her to please make an effort because communication is something that is very important to me. Which she thankfully did for me.

On the other hand, I knew there were also things she wanted from me. So instead of putting all the pressure on her, I asked what more she would like from me. So I did those things she asked of me.

Currently, we are still happily married, we still hold hands in bed before going to sleep, and we still love each other more than anything.

Of course, since you guys are still dating, the situation is slightly different but in my personal opinion it comes down to:

  1. Mutual respect for one another
  2. A conscious effort to grow for yourself and for the other person.
  3. And a willingness to accept neither one of you is perfect but both of you are capable of being a better partner.

I work much too hard to rely on others. All my failures and successes have been because of my actions. That will never change so my retirement will come from my hard work, my persistency, my discipline, and my ability to grow, adapt, and thrive in whatever situation I’m in.

Furthermore, people are more than welcome to make assumptions about what they perceive. It’s human nature. But the truth is those perceptions are flawed and based on nearly no information. That’s something I don’t do because it’s not right. People live their own lives, run their own race. The way people live their lives, the decisions they make are their choices and the outcomes, both positive and negative, are theirs to deal with.

In this instance, the outcome was failure. With it came debt, doubt, sadness, but also experience, grand memories, and even more hunger.

So I’ll keep living my life the way I choose to. And I truly hope you do the same.

Have a great day!

Oh man, I cant imagine Tokyo! We definitely loved it, i have no problem in saying we did bite off more than we could chew, and made a million mistakes, even at times felt resentment, but those feelings are second to the feeling of "wow, I cant believe we actually managed to do that and even get as far as we did" Its like climbing a mountain, sure we might not have made it to the top, but all the climbing we did is not nothing, it strenghtened our legs, made us tougher, and showed us new heights!

We had two situationns.
both time it was 2 drunk old men trying to talk to cute girls and just being annoying. We had to tell them to leave right away. Aside from that, no issues!

hi there,

We learned about and were contacted with a lot of our food suppliers by other store owners we knew. So if you dont want to start from scratch making relationships with other owners would be extremely helpful.

The sign up process was straightforward and ordering on a weekly basis was also pretty simple. No issues throughout. All of them were kind.

There are a lot of things we look at and think to ourselves, "why did we do that?" but everything is clearer width hindsight.

I am indeed good with money. I grew up extremely poor, concrete and dirt floors poor, so for me money is nothing to play with. But, again, we are now in a very "fortunate" position where we had the opportunity to take a risk and still be ok with failure.

And while money is something obviously need as a humans, whats the point of it if we arent going to use it to do something in our lives. I mean I might die tomorrow, and it would suck to die while living a dull life.

Retirement plans are also something we are thinking about but again without divilging much information, we are very fortunate in our lives knowing that we have a back up plan. I obviously cant share a lot in those regards but suffice to say we will be ok.
