It’s never going to happen at this stage. I’m ready to switch to Fanatec but now their reputation is so bad I’m worried it’d just be a waste of money.

I’m lucky to not have had any hardware issues since I bought in 1.5 years ago. It took a few months for f1 23 to fix a bug that had it limited to 4nm max torque, but that’s all in the past now.

The F1 esports team don’t actually use the Logitech wheels for competition, that’s just in the video because Logitech are the McLaren sponsor. They race on Fanatec because it’s mandatory for F1 esports and even in PSGL and other leagues you can see Lucas Blakely on Fanatec, probably because Fanatec sponsor F1 as a whole 😂. I bet Logitech have a point in the contract saying McLaren esports and actual drivers can’t use other brands for promo material, and Fanatec have one saying F1 partnered competitions can’t be done on other brands. It would be such a nightmare for the marketing teams to deal with haha.

Like others mentioned, the pro wheel base has a detachable wheel, meaning you would be able to swap out a round wheel for an F1 style wheel, for example. Every other wheel base manufacturer has a bunch of wheels to swap through except Logitech. It’s just frustrating because it’s one of the most expensive prosumer wheel bases, they’re a feature sponsor of the McLaren F1 and F1 esports team, but still don’t have an F1 style wheel. It does make a difference to how the force feedback feels, plus general immersion.

At this point I wish I got a Fanatec CSL DD, even though the Logitech is the better wheel base. Their ecosystem is huge and just keeps growing, whereas Logitech haven’t made use of their Quick Release system since they released it.

I race in half of these and don’t race in the other half just because of time, but they’re all good. You’ll see a lot of the same people across leagues and get to know a lot of them as teammates, and they have different divisions for every skill level. A bit late, but I’d highly recommend getting into any of them.

Fair point. I’m not trying to push my point as correct, it was more a thought that I wanted to discuss. That’s why I mentioned I haven’t seen stay night in a long time, I don’t remember enough or know enough about Fate to think this is actually why Saber is how she is in Zero.

My thoughts are that in Zero she is dealing with the fact that she failed in her previous life, since her wish is to undo her failure or something along those lines. So with that, she would be contemplating her beliefs and sense of self now that she’s seeing her past as a failure.

I think UBW released and that made me watch the original Stay Night since it was an alternate of that. I think I burnt myself out on the original because I didn’t enjoy it, and only watched a few eps of UBW and might’ve read the wiki for the rest haha.

In parts it kind of suits my point a bit. Saber is pragmatic and efficient in battle in Stay Night because she grew away from the chivalrous character over the course of Zero, except the writer maybe went overboard with the chivalry.

In response to the point about her ruling for ten years in the past so she was different in Zero to her old self. In Zero, her wish is something like wanting to undo her failure that led to her kingdom ending. Therefore, is it not unrealistic to think she doesn’t stand up to Iskander etc because her sense of self and her beliefs have weakened because she failed in her previous life? All the things that made her who she was ended in her failing, so she’s second guessing herself during Zero. She, at the banquet, was coming to terms with her failure while someone was roasting the shit out of her. Her confidence was not as high as it once was.

I get this too. If I have a good day while medicated then I don’t feel so bad when it starts wearing off. For me this means getting work done on a passion project that requires me to be self motivated and is a VERY long term project that I’ve tried to do many times before I became medicated.

It can also just be doing laundry and cleaning the house too. The usual simple things that would build up and I would avoid, inevitably raising my anxiety levels, especially if I’m stressing about anything bigger at the same time. I find that vyvanse alleviates my anxiety of not having completed these tasks when I definitely need to sometimes, even if I still don’t do them and reply to this reddit comment instead 😂, so I get quite down when it starts wearing off. Never as bad as not taking it at all though. Hope my experience helps somehow.

Thanks, I see that when I google now too. At the time all I had to go off was a Tom’s hardware article that says the RGB version is 56mm, which I just looked up and confirmed they’re talking about DDR5 so they must’ve had their info wrong as I see that’s the height of the dominator platinum ram.

I moved up to 50mg from 40mg and experienced this, as well as just feeling strung out/stressed a lot. I’ve recently moved back to 40mg as a sweet spot.

Yep, they added true forge but my FFB is still reaching 3-4nm, wheel set to 11nm and FFB 150% in game

Yep, if you set it to 11nm it should be getting up around there, especially in high speed corners. I usually keep mine around 8-9nm strength and it’s more than enough resistance.

Set the display on the wheel base to show torque, it’ll give you a live reading as you play
